Introduction
Today we will be reviewing the Letshuoer S12 PRO, the latest version of Letshuoer’s successful S12 model. The S12 PRO features a new Space Blue color and a modular cable with interchangeable connectors. In addition, the sound profile has been slightly tweaked, resulting in a more accurate and balanced sound. Construction and Design
The Letshuoer S12 PRO capsules are constructed from aluminum alloy and machined with a 5-axis CNC, resulting in a smooth and micro-sandblasted finish. The capsules have a triangular shape with rounded corners, and the outer face is flat with a rectangular piece that houses the 2Pin 0.78mm connection. The inner face has a hole in the center and the nozzles grow from the center. The cable is made of silver-plated monocrystalline copper with 392 wires and 4 strands, and it comes with three interchangeable connectors.
Adjustment and Ergonomics
The fit and ergonomics of the Letshuoer S12 PRO remain unchanged from the previous model. The fit is very good, with minimal rotation inside the ear and a shallow insertion. The level of isolation depends on the tips used, and the S12 PRO comes with a set of gray silicone tips, a set of transparent silicone tips with a black core, and a set of black foam tips. The overall comfort is excellent, and the IEMs can be worn for hours without discomfort.
Sound
The Letshuoer S12 PRO features a U-shaped sound profile with emphasis on the bass and treble frequencies. The sub-bass has been raised slightly, resulting in a cleaner transition into the mids. The mid-highs are subtly softer, and the treble has been slightly lowered in both exposure and extension. Bass
